Redeemer Bible Institute is seeking a qualified Bible teacher with seminary education to serve as a lead instructor in our Bible Institute.

RBI provides serious, structured biblical education for men and women who desire to deepen their knowledge of Scripture and become better equipped for ministry, teaching, and Christian leadership.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a gifted teacher who loves Scripture, enjoys teaching adult learners, and can communicate biblical truth with clarity and conviction.

RBI provides the curriculum and course materials. The instructor's primary responsibility is to prepare, teach, guide classroom discussion, and help students develop a deeper understanding of God's Word.

This is an in-person teaching opportunity. Classes are held in the Adult Education Center at First Redeemer Church in Cumming, Georgia. Because of the weekly classroom commitment, candidates should live within a reasonable commuting distance of the church.

CLASS SCHEDULE

Classes meet on Tuesdays:

Morning Class: 10:00 AM–1:00 PM
Evening Class: 6:00–9:00 PM

Each class serves approximately 40 students.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Seminary education
  • Strong knowledge of Scripture and biblical theology
  • Experience teaching or preaching the Bible
  • The ability to communicate effectively with adult learners
  • Agreement with the biblical and theological convictions of our ministry
  • A genuine desire to equip believers for Christian service
  • Residence within reasonable commuting distance of First Redeemer Church

This opportunity may be especially well suited for a retired pastor or ministry leader, a recent seminary graduate, a seminary student nearing graduation, an adjunct instructor, or a pastor who would welcome an additional teaching ministry.

COMPENSATION

This is a paid adjunct teaching opportunity. Compensation is provided for teaching, along with reimbursement for approved travel expenses.

Instructors serve on a contract basis rather than as church employees. This opportunity is particularly well-suited for someone who sees teaching as an extension of their ministry and would value the chance to invest in serious students of God's Word.
